Stress affects everyone differently. For some, it shows up as constant worry, irritability, or feeling on edge. For others, it can look like exhaustion, overwhelm, trouble sleeping, or a sense of being stuck and unable to cope. Over time, unmanaged stress can impact your mental health, relationships, work performance, and physical wellbeing.
I work with individuals using a blend of counselling and coaching to support effective stress management. This approach allows us to both explore what’s happening beneath the surface and develop practical strategies you can use in everyday life.
Through counselling, we create a safe and supportive space to understand the underlying causes of your stress - including past experiences, patterns of thinking, emotional responses, and nervous system overload. Many people find relief simply in being heard and validated, without judgement or pressure to “push through.”
Alongside this, the coaching aspect focuses on practical, forward-focused tools. Together we work on building skills such as emotional regulation, boundary setting, grounding techniques, time and energy management, and healthier responses to pressure. The goal is not to eliminate stress entirely, but to help you feel more in control, resilient, and confident in your ability to cope.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to you. We move at your pace and focus on what feels most relevant in your life right now - whether that’s work stress, relationship pressures, burnout, anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed by competing responsibilities.
Stress doesn’t have to run your life. With the right support, it’s possible to feel calmer, clearer, and more balanced, even in the midst of a busy or demanding world.
